1) Of the various cultures, ethnicities or nationalities you belong to, which most strongly do you consider yourself?
A science fiction fan first, and a Swede second.
2) Is there a culture you cannot claim heritage from but which you feel quite close to?
I used to have this attachment to Ireland. It has largely faded with the onset of middle-aged cynicism and realism, but not been replaced by anything else, so I guess I will still have to say Ireland.
3) What's one language you wish you knew fluently?
Too many indeed. Of the ones I know a small amount of; Irish. Of the ones I do not known at all; Italian.
4) If you could move anywhere in the world and be guaranteed a job, etc., where would you go?
Prolly southern France or northern Italy. Southern England would also be a choice.
5) If you had a time machine, and could witness any one event without altering or disturbing it, what would you want to see?
Impossible to answer. Let's see... Woodstock would've been nice. Victory Day after WWII as well, and Armistice Day after WWI. The Dublin Easter Rebellion. Socrates' trial. The grand opening of Hagia Sofia. I could come up with a hundred more, but number these 1-6 and roll a die.
