I'm Greying

No, I'm not. Linnéa found a grey hair on my head half a year ago, but if there are any more, they hide. Or maybe they are in denial. Who knows.

I turned 40 last Thursday. On the Wednesday I was brooding, mulling over how life flies by, how much I do not want to die and lose the abundance of glorious things that is life, how 40 is a turning point, how much I should consider my priorities in life and think about what I want to do with my remaining days and all that Heavy Stuff. Then I turned 40 and nothing happened. Definitely a hyped event; I have to reclaim my expenses from those in charge.

Thanks to all of you who turned out on the Saturday for my little relaxed party. It was exactly what I hoped for: To have my good friends around me eating, talking and (hopefully) having fun. And blessèd be the Makers of Dishwashers.

What I'm kicking myself for is not that I didn't come, because it really turned out to be impossible, with all that I have to study, and now that I'm moving house again..but I was planning to call you and wish you a happy one.
Can I just wish you a smooth, age-crisis free and happy life now? :)
