Shoggoth on the Roof

Last Friday I couldn't resist any more. I've wanted these since I first heard about them, and I downloaded and listened to mp3 samples while waiting for Christmas to strike last year, but after [livejournal.com profile] awahlbom brought a cd and the libretto to the vinyl movers' dinner we threw for the people who helped us move the lp records I wrote about earlier, I knew it had to be soon. And now I've ordered them. Mr. Branney at The HP Lovecraft Historical Society wrote back and asked me "May I ask how you heard about us? I’m always amazed by how many customers we have in Sweden."

What I am talking about? Why, A Very Scary Solstice and A Shoggoth on the Roof of course.

*laughs* Wonderful! Myself, I'm fond of the "Christmas Goes Baroque" CDs, but then I never worshipped the Old Ones seriously. ;)

I love the fact that people make these kind of things.

ooh..that's awesome man!
*sigh* I sometimes miss the Old Ones, the colonel (if that was the rank), dear old Douglas Blythe, the professor and everyone else. Great roleplaying makes that kind of imprint.
And hens, I miss the dead hen-jokes, heh...

And what did you tell Sean Branney, then?

All the other cultists said it was daft to have a shoggoth on the roof. But I put up there all the same, just to show 'em!
