A mail to Reuterswärd will confirm your status. But yes, you definitely need an attending membership soonish to hang on your wall and impress the girls with.
Tempting, very tempting. Hmmm, but I think I have a wedding to attend that weekend, my brother's no less. And I was oversees the *last* time he got married so I've been constantly reminded to be in the country for this one :P
You think your absence has anything to do with their break-up? I have missed my younger sister's three weddings, and none of them have lasted. To be perfectly honest, she only invited people to the first one, and the last one was a conveniance arrangement, not designed to last.
Nah, but I think I get blamed for entirely different reasons. They met at my 21st birthday where I was supposed to introduce her to my boyfriend's older brother except that he didn't turn up so she went for my brother instead. (We are no longer really friends.) Thankfully I can deny all responsibilty for this one, I've no idea where or how they met.
Hmmm, a convenience arrangement? That sounds intriging.
It's not half as intriguing as it sounds - but a little bit messy. My sister had an on-off relationship with this guy, and their kids got on really well, so they decided to move in together so they could afford a real house for them and the kids, instead of the undersized and overpriced apartments both were living in at the time, and after living together for a year or so they still weren't quite sure of how much of a couple they were, but they found out that there would be tax benefits if they were married instead of just living together, so they went into the city hall and had one of these 10-minute things.
Oops! That was me. The first time was hardly my fault either because they decided to get married *whilst* I was overseas, and I was only away for 3 weeks :P
Well, I have a tiny bit of bad conscience about missing my sister's first one, but they announced it only a month in advance, and it was in the middle of our summer holidays and we had already planned everything we would do, and because it was in the middle it would have wrecked our whole trip. But I suppose afterwards that maybe I prioritized the wrong way.
On the other hand, the guy's a jerk and my sister left him - literally fled from him - a few years later. So.
