There's a lot of science fiction there, isn't it? Especially Philip K. Dick I recognise, my sister gave me a book with a collection of short stories by him ("We Can Remember It For You Wholesale" or something?) a couple of years ago. Have just read one of them though.

Yes, science fiction is my preferred reading category together with fantasy. The books I love the most are fantasy, but the average quality of fantasy is lower than that of SF, so I tend to read more SF than fantasy. Those two books by Dick are not SF, however, they are mainstream novels he wrote in the 50s that weren't published until after his death in 1982. And they're *really* good.

It looks like you've included those you read to me (and possibly not all of those), but not the ones I read to you -- I can't see Svejk there for instance.

As a matter of fact, I don't think we've kept track of which books we've had as bedtime reading. I have a partial list in the back-up of my blog archives, but maybe we should try and do a concerted effort to make a list before it is too late.

Nope, I include all books we read to each other - so we can reconstruct them from my full list - but we never finished Svejk, so my conscience forbade me to include it.
