As some of you know and some don't, I and

jlms are volunteer editors in the Open Directory Project, a non-profit effort where thousands of people around the globe strive to build a comprehensive directory of links to useful websites. It's not just a great link directory, it's also a great web community. This coming Friday afternoon we're flying to Brussels to meet other European editors. RyanAir unfortunately, regular flying is too expensive for us to pop way for just a weekend otherwise.
