Who is the true heir to Morthond Vale?
Mar. 22nd, 2007 01:08 pmLousy night, didn't fall asleep until sometime after 3 AM and woke up repeatedly until it was time to rise. I've slept badly on and off for the last seven years now; no idea why. But it's not too bad, the bad spells are rarer these days and I get by during the day when they strike.
Gearing up for the big banquet/event in the local Tolkien society on Saturday, even though I will be in the kitchen most of the time. The plot is as follows:
A number of years have passed since the end of the War of the Ring, and in lonely Morthond Vale, bitter, haughty old Naneth sits on her throne, lamenting the loss of her sons and grandsons all. The fief is without an heir, the glory of the olden days gone, and she refuses to give up her hold on life until she has found an heir. She has declared this to the world, and five people have shown up, each with a claim to Morthond vale. Who will prove the true heir?
Should be fun!
