A little more sleep
Mar. 23rd, 2007 12:13 pmCouldn't fall asleep yesterday night either, so I took half a pill of Propavan. It did the trick, but not until approximately 1.30 AM. At least I slept well after that! But now I really need some sleep tonight, so I must get home in a decent hour. Tomorrow I will have to get up rather early, I suspect, and if I don't get at least 6-7 hours I won't function very well tomorrow. Ach, it will be OK in the end.
Made 4 kg hoummous yesterday. Yum. It's ridiculously easy, just mash chickpeas in a food destructor and mix with sesame paste, lemon and garlic.
I'm reading Hal Duncan's Vellum at the moment. It's slow going. I like it, but I wonder whether it couldn't have been structured in a less rambling way. I think I see what he's trying to achieve with it, but it makes for slow reading... and since I only read on the bus commuting to and from work, if I'm the least tired, I put the book down and listen to my ipod instead. I guess I will have to read another Philip Reeve afterwards, as a counterpoint.
