No Rogue Nemi Translators Allowed!

Got a friendly letter from Strand Comics who told me that they cannot accept unauthorized translations of Nemi on the web and respectfully asked me to take down the one I had posted and/or link to an approved translation at Metro instead. Fair enough, I see their point. Luckily, the strip I had posted was available in translation already, and the official one was as good as mine own, so I complied with their wish. (I didn't know Metro ran them when I made the translation.)

Banquet/event on Saturday went off fine, I think. I was in the kitchen most of the time, but people seemed happy afterwards. After cleaning up the banquet hall and kitchen yesterday I was so doggone tired that when I tried to make some gravy for jlms's dinner, I had to throw away the first two attempts, made the third one too salty (but it had to do anyway) and broke a plate in the process. I was a zombie from exertion and not enough sleep, but in a very drowsy, comfortable way. And tonight I slept like a log for eight hours. On the night bus home from the event, I chatted with FS about work and was told off by a very drunk self-proclaimed mother of three who thought it was completely inappropriate to talk about such boring stuff in the middle of a night. She switched between telling me what a horrible person I was and apologizing for being so drunk and rude, hoping she wouldn't have to face me again when sober. It was highly amusing.

Reminds me, I haven't had any coffee yet today. Mmm, coffee.
